PIR Low leachable chloride |
CKT PIR is based on European technology and is produced with chemicals from reliable sources, guaranteeing a constant product quality. This rigid polyisocyanurate thermal insulation product is CFC free and fully recyclable. CKT PIR has minimum impact on the environment. The fire rating is class B2 according to the DIN 4102 standard. |
CKT PIR Industrial Insulation products range from 35 to 60 kg/m3 core-density and have an excellent strength-to-density ratio. It is generally used by the Petrochemical Industry, Food and Beverage processing Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry and many other environments where reliable, durable insulation with excellent thermal performance is required. |
CKT PIR Industrial Insulation products are converted to shape in accordance with customer’s requirements and are only limited by the maximum block dimensions of 3,000mm x 1,220mm x 900mm thick. For large diameter sections the radius will be divided into as few segments as possible or to the stipulations in the specifications. Sections and board material can be shaped, uponrequest, with longitudinal and circumferential ship lap joints. |
CKT PIR doesn’t require special conditions for storage. The block foam can be stored in the open air. Converted products should be stored weather-protected, free from the floor e.g. on flat beds, especially for thin board material. The converted product should be covered from daylight to avoid discoloration. Discoloration in no way affects the performance of this insulation material. Care should be taken that the products retain their original shape and some protection against impact damage should be provided. |
